How should I prepare for my Red Light Therapy sessions?
Red light penetrates to the bottom of your skin's dermis layer and directly to the fatty layer. Red light stimulates fibroblast cells which boost the production of collagen and elastin proteins. Red light therapy is proven effective in the repair and rejuvenation of skin. Red light emits ZERO UV light and will NOT tan you. Visit our testimonial page for more information!
To maximize skin rejunvenation, we recommend wearing no make-up or moisturizers as well as weekly exfoliation for better light penetration. We recommend using Red Light Pre-Spray before your session to best prepare your skin. After your session, we recommend using Red Light Body lotion, as well as Red Light under eye serum (to get rid of any dark circles) and Red Light Faces (specifically designed for the face). More information on our Beauty by Light Red Light products can be found here. For pain management, follow up with range of motion exercises and light stretching.

How do I use Red Light Therapy?
Skin will be noticably softer and smoother after just 3 or 4 sessions of red light therapy, with visible reduction of fine lines and wrinkles after 60-90 days of continuous use. We suggest three sessions (12 minutes each) per week for 2 weeks (or more if required), then 2-3 sessions per week for 6 weeks for best results. Red Light therapy can be paired with UV light tanning but to maximize effectiveness we recommend that customers should not UV tan and do a red light session in the same day as that can be counter-productive. Red Light therapy can be done immediately before a UV-free spray tan, and many customers report improved spray tan results when preceded by Red Light therapy.
